Sweet Clover's Gale Warning

Pheadina Satina (Faye) is a multi-generational black alpaca, from a line of champions. Faye's dam is a multi blue ribbon winning, Color Champion female & her sire is the well known Nishio, who was Herdsire of the year in 2004. She has many heavy black hitters in her lineage, to include Compadre and El Italiano.

We think Faye will bring in some of the best in dark genetics, and a glance at Faye's registration will confirm it is there. Faye herself has a solid frame, solid conformation and a deeply colored fleece, with average density and good uniformity. Have I mentioned Faye's easy going personality? Wonderful female. She mixes and mingles well with others and does not stress easily. Faye placed Third at the extremely competitive Mid-America Alpaca Show in the yearling true black full fleece halter class.

Faye delivered her first cria Spring '08, a lovely black male named Prairie's Cruiser, without assistance. She had plenty of milk and was very patient and attentive to her cria. Cruiser, like Faye, is easy going and gentle. Cruiser sold shortly after weaning.

Faye's delivered her second cria Spring '09, a very spirited true black female from her breeding to Peruvian X Gregor, the son of 7 x Black Color Champion SA Peruvian Black Epic. This cria, Killima Spiridiva of PEF, is really an eye catcher, and so fine! Diva was just awarded Color Champion (Blacks) and First Place in the 2010 Estes Park Wool Market, a Level III Certified Fleece Show.

Faye delivered a nice dark brown boy cria 04/08/2011 without assistance or wittnesses. He has very fine fleece with pin curls throughout and the trademark white face markings from his grandsire, Nishio. We named him Sweet Clover's Spiridion, meaning Little Spirit. He was a little premature and was a little wobbly on his feet for his first few days. He gained weight every day and is doing very well now.
